Collaborative Endeavor for Tea Advancement: EATTA Board Engages with Tanzanian Tea Leaders

In a recent milestone event, the EATTA Board convened with key stakeholders in Tanzania's thriving tea sector. The meeting included representatives from the ministry of Agriculture, the Tea Board of Tanzania, Tea Association of Tanzania, and Tanzania Smallholders Tea Development Agency. Distinguished figures such as the Tanzania Minister of agriculture Hon. Hussein Mohamed Bashe, Mr. Arthur Sewe, Chairman of the East African Tea Trade Association, Mr. Theophord C. Ndunguru, Chairman of the Tanzania Smallholders Tea Development Agency, and Ms. Mary Kipeya, Director General of the Tea Board of Tanzania, were present.

In integrating good corporate citizenship into our business strategies, the Board of East African Tea Trade Association (EATTA) donated USD 10,000 to Mombasa County to alleviate the effects of floods occasioned by the recent El Nino upon its citizenry.
